<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> Cades Cove In The Smokys<br> picture - This was our first extended ride. We took it up into the Smoky Mountains to the entrance to Cades Cove; about a 100 mile round trip. It handled well and tolerarated the change in altitude with no problems. It was so nice driving through the mountains without a top. NOTE - Notice how the hood on the passenger side is raised slightly at the edge. I discovered that was due the hood lift strut mounting bracket. The issue was the FFR supplied holes were too far down to allow the strut to compress without bottoming. The solutions were to move the bracket and mess up the paint on the underside of the hood OR shorten the strut&#39;s shaft and re-thread it. I chose the latter. Note-2: The passenger side hood opening required a shim between the body and the frame to help match the hood&#39;s curve. </div></nolayer></noembed>
