The primary jet is on the right and the secondary jet is on the left. Both screw into the carb base. The other side of the carb looks just like this side. Here's my final tuning specs: Metering rods - .070 X 0.520 (2 stage leaner) Primary main jets stock - 0.095 Secondary main jets stock - 0.098 Step-up spring - silver (8" vacuum) I drive at 1000 feet elevation or higher most of the time. These produced a WOT of 12.5 and a cruise of 13.5 to 14.7 A/F ratio. MPG is 22 on the highway at 70 mph. BUT, the real issue with this carb was in 1st and 2nd gears at WOT. HUGE A/F ratio oscillations produced a run-miss-run-miss situation that was anoying and really hurt lower gear accelleration. I gave up on the EDL carbs and switched to a Holley Avenger 570. Holleys adjustable vacuum secondary diaphram works much better than the EDL air flap.
