To prove the secondaries were causing the wild AF swings, I removed the linkage and ran on primaries only. Except for a mild lean bog in 1st at the start of WOT, the curve looks very nice. The car was notably slower and the power fell off rapidily above 4000 rpm due to not enough cfm capacity without the secondaries flowing. This proved that the problem with oscillations in the AF ratio was due to the secondaries opening. I tried every adjustment EDL recommended and could not eliminate the problem. I could only move the symtoms to other rpm's and gears. NOTE: I replaced the EDL 1806 carb with a Holley Street Avenger 570. More about that later on.
