The throttte cable mount setup I designed for the old EDL carb worked just fine on the Holley. A few changes were needed for the swap: drill a hole in the Holley throttle arm to move the cable end mount to the same relative distance from the fixed cable mount. This maintains the same radius from the throttle shaft. It keps the throttle pedal's idle position the same, as well as the distance the pedal moved from idle to the WOT position. The other mod was to fabricate an aluminum standoff to space the cable end mount away from the throttle arm the same distance as with the old EDL carb. The stainless breather tube I fabricated to allow filtered air into the valve cover is also shown here. The PCV valve is on the other valve cover.
