I covered all exposed frame tubes and installed carpet to just below the door hinge. The mats were cut from a second set of FFR carpet I bought. Unlike the leather surging I put on the more visible cockpit carpet pieces, these were done in cloth on a sewing machine. Of note; the door hinge shoulder bolt visible here is stainless. In fact I replaced all the supplied shoulder bolts for the doors and hood with stainless.
