I'm running 275/17/40 tires on the front. I wanted to see what would happen if the suspension bottomed out so I removed the spring from the Koni and jacked up the lower control arm until the tire contacted the fender. The tire is the limiting factor for the suspension here. The Koni shock was 1" away from hitting the limit stop when the tire hit the fender. I'm not comfortable with this and will look for an additional limit stop to place on the Koni to prevent fender rub in the event of a large bump in the road. The Bilsteins were no different in this respect but they never compressed enough for the tire to contact the fender. I'm not taking any chances.
