4/12/09 - I dropped the oil pan to replace the one-piece gasket due to a very slight oil drip at the rear. The problem was caused by the U-shaped piece of the seal leaking around the area of the rear main bearing. I changed the gasket to a Felpro Blue one-piece gasket and added a small bead of Black RTV to the U-shaped gasket area at assembly. No more leaking. I took this shot from under the car of how little wear has taken place on the piston skirt. The engine looks brand new inside. See the cylinder wear in the next photo.
