This is the bottom rod. Note the wood strip I placed between the rear-most aluminum panel and the 3/4&#34; frame tube. The 3/16&#34; oak strip is a spacer I made to set the trunk aluminum back slighty facilitating a tight fit between the bulbseal and the body. I used &#35;8 SS sheet metal screws instead of rivets (drilled throught the aluminum/oak/frame) to affix the lower edge of the trunk aluminum. Also note the Allen head bolt holding the gas tank strap mount. </div></nolayer></noembed>
