I cut about 1/2" off the bottom of the Finishline Radot mirror mount. All of the original holes are used and the mount is through-bolted into the windshieled side bar. The lower edge gets trimmed so the mirror can be mounted higher up on the side bar and not have the lower edge of the mount hang off the bar and interfere with the wind wing. Through bolting is much stronger than using the existing windshield frame mounting hardware that can be stripped out of the soft brass frame.
