Every 2 years they hold the Bay to Birdswood Vintage Car Rally. It Starts in the seaside suburb of Glenelg and goes through Adelaide then up through the Adeliade Hills to the Birdswood Museum in Birdswood. The Birdswood Museum is the National Australian Motor Museum. It is about 45 kilometres in distance. The museum is worth a visit, it has a great collection of vehicles. Around 1,400 cars, trucks and motorbikes took part in the rally, they have to be of pre 1950s vintage.
