I happened to visit Antwerp a couple of years ago by sea. It is a huge port. one of the biggest in Europe after Rotterdam and Hamburg. The port is entered through the Scheldt river. It takes about 4-5 hours to reach the port. The river Scheldt is a fantastic and scenic river and is a pleasure to transit. Some of the first few photos are of the river transit. Since we went there by sea there was not much time to see the whole of Antwerp. But I did have the pleasure of visiting the centre of this fabulously rich and wonderful city.
