Dragoman trip across Africa

We flew out of Bangkok in the wee hours of Saturday, May 27 and headed to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. I had never even heard of Dubai until booking the flight. Our airline was Emirates Air, voted one of the best in the world. I was curious to see what kind of people traveled from Bangkok to Dubai, and what type of crew we would have. I wish you'd show more photos, because your story indicates you took lots and lots.

I have a sore back and sore eyes from reading your very long story, but it's the funniest one I've read in a long time. We've been to Africa twice, but your experiences are mostly quite different from ours. We went on luxury safaris and of course you did not. I'm sure you saw more of the real people than we did, tho our time was far more concentrated in seeing animals. But after the evening game drive we tended to head to our tents; your 'day' was just beginning!

I'm sure you are decades younger than we, and I'm also sure you slept a long long time after the five weeks. Nice going on a terrific article, but my back is still sore from reading this epic all at one time.
