My brother and I (sans wives) spent two weeks in the Fall auto-touring through the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Mosel and upper Rhine Valley of Germany. It was a grand circle tour, starting and ending in Amsterdam. We also spent a long day in Paris, commuting from Brussels by the high-speed, Thalys train. Our major stops during the tour were Amsterdam, Antwerp, Brussels, Paris, Ghent, Bruges, Trier, Cologne, and Haarlem.
