The People of Auckland

New Zealanders are wonderful people. They really seem to enjoy themselves, and why shouldn't they , since they live in the most beautiful country in the world? At least we think they do.

Three times now we've been over there, on the other side of the world from California. We visited in early 2004 , and spent several days in Auckland before we took a cruise. Here are some of the interesting New Zealanders we found along the way.

I liked these pictures on New Zealand very much indeed. I was a little upset not to have managed to pop over to the islands myself last year when I was so close in Australia, however looking at your pictures I think it will definately be included in my next travel list - whenever it might be that I get to go! I also very much liked your favourite picture of the Maori with his tongue out - think i'd say that was a keeper too! The picture before of the rough seas looked a bit nasty - so glad I chose to fly...! As all of your articles are, this is a fantastic set of pictures and I will be slowly working through the many others you have already posted up. I am looking forward to them all.

Girls ...Cracovian folks costume!
Hi Bob, another excellent article and shot of the rough ocean waters seen from the ship deck is superb. It is interesting to note that on the first picture we can see two girls wearing the Cracovian folks costume. I assume that the mother is of Polish origin and this particular picture you took was on Sunday? She was probably attending some social activities in the Polish community. New Zealand and Australia is on our travel list and one these days we will go there. Thank you for your generous comments about my shots from Puerto Vallarta. PV is a very interesting place to visit. Definitely you should use your time share. We met so many friendly Americans and we had a great time there, they all live in the Gringo Gulch. You are going to be very busy there, there is so much to see, to do, and travel around that I am predicting that youre going to take at least 500 pictures :)). Friendly greetings, Rafal
