The sheer height of the main tower of the Wat Arun Temple of Dawn is quite noticeable from the water itself, but one appreciates it only after arrival at the temple itsef. To get to Wat Arun, which is on the opposite bank, take a water bus to Wap Phap (also known as Wat Po) and then take a Wat Po to Wat Arun shuttle boat to the opposite bank.
