Golden Buddha<br> Sightseeing in Bangkok picture - Fabulous golden Buddha in the Wat Traimit of Bangkok. This idol apparently had plaster smeared all arount it, to put off invaders. Its only after someone accidentally knocked a piece of plaster off that people discovered the glossy gold metal inside. A tiny fragment of the plaster too is kept next to the statue.
