Sanctum sanctorum of the Maha Mariyamman temple at Presaar Seni area of Kuala Lumpur. I was rather wary of taking this shot: another person too shot looking at me. It turned out later that there were no restrictions on photography at most of the temples all over the Far East. Most Mariyamman temples have at least one bizzare idol showing the deity in a very frightening and violent form, something we noticed in Bangkok, KL and Singapore.
