The typically British architecture of the Fullerton Hotel vies for space with modern concrete monstrosities, the ugly skyscrapers. Another British style hotel, the Raffles Hotel, is also a tourist attraction in itself and is included in many tours. We could not visit it for want of time. That too is said to be more spectacular by night.
