Apart from a tour of the night safari by tram, there are three walking trails which allow you to see animals really up close. Most are indeed more active in the dim simulated moonlight. Here wife and son pose before a board denoting one of the walking trails. You are free to take pictures, but the use of flash is not allowed. The trams are actually road vehicles with trailers. They do not use headlights: the drivers are trained to drive in the dark following set paths, and of course guided by moonlight.
