Bicycle trishaws were once an integral part of the local transportation scenario in Singapore. Only a handful now remain, whose use is limited to giving tourists a ride. Here is a group of trishaws conveying a group of ecstatic European tourists. This was the first and last lot of trishaws we saw. Note that the passenger portion sticks out like a sidecar unlike rickshaws in India where the rear widens to seat two passengers.
