These pictures are a selection of mountain pictures taken over the last 15 years. All were taken by myself (often using the self timer) on a basic £100 compact camera. All are slides. The trips were undertaken solo mainly as long distance treks, but often included summits & galcier travel. Quite a few peaks were climbed along the way. Must get back out threr some day...... I camped & used huts, carrying everything I would need in a large rucksack, that weighed about 35lbs. The advantages of going alone outweighed the disadvantages.

The major trips were:

1990 - 3 months in Europe & North Africa

1992 - HRP route from the Atlantic to the Med along the ridge of the Pyrennes (about 60 days)

1994 - Alps, from Spittal im Drau in Austria to Brianconn in France (about 85 days)

1994 - GR11 - Med to Atlantic following the Spanish version of the HRP

2002 - 8 weeks in the Veneideger group in Austria, Climbing every peak.

other trips inbetween of 1 - 2 weeks.
