Here are some pictures from a couple days spent at Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park in Australia's Northern Territory. Uluru (Ayers Rock) is a large sandstone monolith, and may be the best known geological feature of Australia. Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) is a collection of 36 sandstone domes. Both sites include areas that are considered sacred to the Aboriginal people.
