After spending a couple weeks touring Australia's Northern Territory, I flew back to Sydney via Cairns. I try to get window seats as much as possible, and for the Cairns to Sydney flight I had a view out of the west side of the plane. Expecting to see only ocean, I instead was treated to views of part of the Great Barrier Reef.
