This year, I travelled to Hungary and the Czech Republic. This article will show some of my picture for the Hungary part of my trip. Soon, I will add pictures from the Czech side.

Hungary was quite sunny and welcoming. We first travelled to Budapest, the capital and after that, we explored the country side. I really enjoyed the good food and good wine at very reasonable prices. Everybody was very welcoming and charming to talk to. Communication in English is certainly not a problem in Budapest. German is a good attribute in the counrty side.

I certainly encourage those of you who want to travel to the eastern countries. Things have changed a lot esp. in Hungary and the Czech Republic where we were. There are a lot of wonderful things to see there. We travelled on our own with a rental car and we have felt safe at all times.
