Thanks so much - I loved your photos! In several museums I've visited, they had these "lifelike" statues! One, a guide told me, a man "spoke to' and when she didn't answer, he huffed up and left!! Guess we'll have to "get used to it"!!

Thanks for the cleaning woman photo!
When we reached the verrrry end of the Staatsgalerie we came across this figure. Didn't quite know if she was real, alive or ... Unfortunately we didn't have a camera with us and the museum didn't have her on a postcard (big mistake in my opinion.)

So... thanks for your picture of the washer woman at the end of the gallery. It is one of the many highlights of this wonderful museum.
