We went to Egypt in April of the year 2000. It was a lucky thing we did, since hostilites broke out in Israel the next year and curtailed the plans of many people.

We enjoyed Cairo a lot. Of course while there we went to the Cairo Museum and saw the exhibit from the tomb of King Tut. It is always crowded there.

The Papyrus Institute is a very interesting place to visit. You can purchase art work, jewelry, etc. But there are also demonstration of the making of papyrus as you have seen in my photographs. ... (more)
