Edfu: Charles Bray took this picture god Horus of an early 20th century replica of a barque of god Horus in which a boat use to carry the statue to different places, and now the statue its on Pedestal inside the Sanctuary. The barque would have been joined briefly each year by the barque of the goddess Hathor brought from Dendara Temple. Edfu its about 100 km south of Luxor that was the capital of the second province of Upper Egypt.
