Hello from Japan!!! Kyoto is located in the western part of Japan. It is one of the great ancient capitals. It takes about an hour from Kobe where I live. So, it is my favorite day trip destination always!!! There are many old temples and shrines, which house many artistic treasures and have beautiful Japanese-style gardens. Kyoto shows various kinds of charm depend on the season.
