The Monarto Open Plains Zoo is situated around 60 kms east of Adelaide. They have mainly exotic animals that are endangered, which they have had great success in breeding. They are part of the world breeding program. They also have been able to send animals back to the countries they originally came from for release into the wild. I took my son and grandson with me to the Park and they really enjoyed it.
