Malta: Alex Miles on holidays from England, posing sitting on one of the huge rocks by the entrance Mnajdra Temples in which Alex was impressed by the Mnajdra as a complex site consisting of three temples overlooking an oval forecourt. The first and oldest temple is a simple trefoil of the Ggantija Temples in Xaghra, Gozo, phase (3600-3100 BC). The small rubble walls are a modern reconstruction but the small uprights, with their pitted decoration, are original, in which youll be amazed if you ever have the opportunity to visit the Temples in Malta as Alex did.
