You asked me to choose a few of my favorites so you can enter them in a contest. (I tried to email you three times, but your server apprently will not accept my emails. All have bounced back to me. Can you check it out?)

Here are my favorites:

Incense: hits the senses. You can almost smell Sichuan in it.

Mountain: a stark and simple image,The hump of a mountain seems to spring from the earth, offering a sense of both the beauty and bleakness of Sichuan.

Hiding: communicates the shy nature of the child. He symbolizes a remote and distant land.

Little Boy: full of charm, warmth, and vitality. Through him, you communicate the energy of Sichuans young people.

(Both Liz and I thank you still once again for joining us in Amsterdam. Your friendship, guidance, suggestions, and response to my pictures were much appreciated, Mo. You helped us bring a great trip to a perfect close.)
