Hanoi is a lovely old city. Many of the old houses are influenced by French architecture, with Chinese architecture playing a part in certain areas as well.

We stayed in Camellia Hotel whose staff was excellantly helpful and friendly. The receptionist even helped me valiently retrieve my lost camera which I had carelessly left on the bus that morning or these photos would not have materialised. ... (more)
