Old Skagen<br> Buildings in Nordfylland picture - The older Skagen houses have the red tile roofs, but also have unique white paint down the sides of the roofs. This is only found in Skagen and goes back to an old superstition that would keep the fisherman safe when they were at sea, so they could come home to their families.
