In September 2002 I joined a wild life tour specifically to see the famous flowers of Western Australia WA. We travelled over a 100 km north of Perth to the Kennedy Range and also visited Mt Augustus. Unfortunately I was 3 years too late and visited a dramatic countryside in the grip of the worst drought for decades. Even so I discovered the odd remnant of the amazing flora of norwestern Australia. These are just a few pictures of the countryside we travelled through and I will add more as time allows.
