On Australia Day in 2005 (January 26th), Sara and I caught the bus into the city to watch the days festivities. We walked from George Street down to Circular Quay and around to the Opera House. We continued onto the Royal Botanical Gardens and met up with Sara's friend Catherine for a lazy afternoon picnic. We watched the Ferry Race, saw some Tall Ships and other private boats on the harbour as well.
