After spending a night in Page, Arizona, I had a day to get to Las Vegas. I planned a scenic drive across northern Arizona, the region known as the Arizona Strip. I followed U.S. 89 south out of Page, and then took U.S. Alt. 89 west across the Colorado River and into the Strip at Marble Canyon, following the Vermilion Cliffs to Fredonia. There I took Arizona 389, Utah 59 and Utah 9 to I-15. South on I-15 heads to Las Vegas.
