Our family trip to Rhodes in 1999 was such great fun! These pictures show some of the beautiful scenery, especially of the ocean. I can't really tell much specifically about the pictures, because I was at an age or something where I was still sorta just like "wow, its pretty... yay... pretty... yay... beautiful" rather than concentrating on history or, you know, the things that I would today deem important and interesting. But hey, the pictures are pretty!?... I can't wait to go back though, to get real insight and more understanding. My main understanding right now is that Rhodes is a nice place for vacation. People will try to sell all sorts of crap to you, and some of it actually isn't totaly crap. You will see a bunch of drunk tourists, Finns are notorious for this actually. Rhodes is a nice place to go to experience culture, although much of it is super commercialized, and you will meet a lot of people who are there just to party, and they eat at one of the many restaurants that serve the food from their home country(so many restaurants with sausage for the Germans, for example). If anyone is considering a trip, you should go. If you aren't considering a trip, you should still go.
