Glacier National Park is one of the real jewels of our National Park system. It is a day hikers paradise. In 12 days there, my wife and I hiked over 80 miles of trails and were never disapppointed. These pictures show a lot of snow because June of 2002 brought at lot (5 feet) of late spring snows. The Going-to-the-Sun Road didn't open until June 29th, the latest in modern history.
