Winter Images from Calgary in months of January 2003 showing the city strongly influenced by warm Chinook winds. For those who never heard about Chinook here is a word of explanation.

The Chinook is a natural phenomenon and has nothing to do with global warming or any human activities. This a natural warm wind coming from the tropical part of Pacific Ocean, flowing above the Rockies in British Columbia where the moisture is left behind.
