Falakhnuma Palace. Hyderabad was built in 1884-1893 by Sir. Waquarul Umara Iqbaluddoula Bahadur for 40 Lakhs of Rupees. It was built with Italian Marble, Best of the English Wood, and the Tapestry and the Brocades were brought from France. The work force used were also the French. The then NIZAM V1 liked it somuch he paid the full price and purchased it from his Priminister. The end result was so magnificiant and the splendour was so great that the Guests who stayed there include the King George the V of England, Prince and Princess of Wales, Dukes of Austria and Russia. It has 36 Chandeliers in its Throne room and has the biggest Dining table in the World with 102 ornately decorated wooden chairs. Public are not allowed into the 300 acre site and Photography inside the Palace is not allowed.
