Traveling the Baja can and will become one of the greatest trips a person can have. The people are very friendly and are overly helpful. The best way to travel,is by daylight, and plan campsite early. Night comes fast and you don't want to be on the road after dark. Gas stations are well placed, but carry spare fuel filters, just in case. There is also a free road side service called the Green Angels who covers the highway twice a day.
