Once we had had time to become adjusted to Romanian local time (7 hours ahead of the time we had been used to in Canada), we were taken by bus to Giurgiu's harbour along the Danube. Here, for the first time, we met MS SWISS PEARL, a lovely river cruiser that was, for the next 11 days going to be our home.
