The Fish Market in Bergen is right in the center of the town, near of Bryggen street and the historical core. It is well known by most of the visitors of Bergen, so you will find more tourists than local people there. The range of goods is corresponding to the catch that can be made in the Norwegian Sea and around. When compared with some other similar places (in Seattle, U.S., Vigo, Spain, etc.), for me, there were two kinds of site-specific sea food: whale meat (delicious) and sea urchin (well, not so tasty, but quite interesting).
