Surprising Buenos Aires

I put down the title as 'Surprising Buenos Aires' because, coming from Singapore all way around the other side of the globe, Argentina really surprises me. In absolute honesty, I had expected a bit of a third world country but, boy, was I wrong! It is an extremely interesting place, full of vitality and it is as European as any European city I have seen! Steep in Spanish and their own Argentinian culture, it is very well developed and you can tell by the many bookstores and Internet cafes around Buenos Aires. Plenty of ... (more)
