Each year approximately 2,600 children require the services of our Edmonton Paramedics. An ambulance ride can be a very overwhelming situation for a child. With this in mind, a stuffed animal is given out to comfort and make a child's emergency experience more "bear-able". The Country Sunshiners Square Dance Club has been putting on a dance for the last few years where the entry fee is a Teddy Bear for the Bear a Medics Program.
