Ponta Negra is 14 km south of Natal on the North East Coast of Brazil, a lively beach resort with lots of bars and restaurants where you can watch the passing parade while drinking caipiroska (Fresh lime and brown sugar ground together and mixed with vodka)

We were only there a couple of days as we were travelling 70 kms further south to a place I do prefer, Praia Da Pipa it is quieter on the beach and has a much nicer village.

I would still return to Negra but check out my photos from Pipa and you will understand why I prefer it.
