Some pics taken on my last trip to South Africa in October/November 2002. It was my 3rd trip, previous trips I was just a kid and these pictures were all places I had been to before. It was quite different this time around seeing that my previous visit was in 1981! The beaches there are very nice and the waves are great and the Indian ocean is fairly warm. There are constant reminders to keep an eye on your valuables as the crime rate is unfortunately high even at the beach. But I experienced no threat or problems. The hotels ... (more)
