The last week of January, 2003, was sunny and mild on Sanibel Island. We stayed at Sanibel Moorings, an unusual property in that in the 5.5 acres there are 270 varietes of tropical fruit and ornamental plants from Cuba, Indochina, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico and other locations.
We walked the beaches, toured the art galleries, toured Ding Darling http://www.dingdarlingsociety.org/ and enjoyed the excellent restaurants.
