Hi, I live in Tampa and have driven through Kansas on several occasions in route to Denver. I was sitting here thinking of the various sunsets I've seen and I remembered the awesome sunset I experienced crossing the State of Kasas before reaching Colorado. I remember it being a very long drive and this was the last leg of he trip, 6 hrs to cross Kansas, but just as I was really growing tired from the sound of the wheels, the sun began to set over the wheat fields, incredibly beautiful, I'll never forget it! Marsha, the pics were great, thanks for sharing them. The sunset reminded me of a drive we took recently from Topeka to Manhattan to Clay Center and then Linsbourgh (sp?) on the way back home teh sunset was gorgeous on the plains of KS.
