Geirangerfjorden in Møre og Romsdal region is one of the best known fjords in Norway. You can pass it using the Hellesylt – Geiranger car ferry service, which works from May 1st to September 30th every year. The fjord has a lot of waterfalls on its both sides. Its both sides consist mostly of vertical walls, which do not allow to built any reasonable direct road communication between Hellesylt and Geiranger. The ferry trip takes one and half hour. In the ferry, they make you a detailed guided comment on anything you see around, but I was unable to catch the details since it was impossible while making pics. My pics are arranged chronologically, as I passed from Hellesylt to Geiranger. Only the last two pics were taken from the steep national road No. 63 when leaving from Geiranger to Eidsdal.
Enjoy them!
